This delicate aquilegia seems to be no worse for wear after the dry winds we've been having and the cart looks like it's survived as well.

We watched a pair of curlews in the early evening yesterday, but couldn't get a picture of them together. This is the best I could do.
This morning the swallows have arrived and are flying in and out of the cow shed looking very busy.
